About Briana Bowden...
Briana Bowden, NP-C earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Daemen University in Buffalo, New York, specializing as an adult-geriatric nurse practitioner.
Her background includes experience in emergency medicine, primary care, hospice, rehabilitation, and long-term care—giving her a broad foundation for compassionate, comprehensive patient care.
Briana’s passion for integrative healing began long before nursing school. Growing up overseas and serving in a community health internship in the Republic of Congo ignited her commitment to caring for both body and spirit. There, caring for patients with malaria, HIV/AIDS, leprosy, and tropical diseases taught her the power of whole-person care and the vital need for patients to understand the “why” behind their treatment.
Since discovering functional medicine in 2018, Briana has eagerly pursued advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, Worldlink Medical, and other respected programs. This education has strengthened her root-cause approach and deepened her conviction that true healing starts by addressing underlying imbalances. She finds great joy in helping patients feel their best and reach their health goals.
At Leading Edge Clinic, Briana is grateful to join a team dedicated to ongoing research and integrative care that helps patients thrive. Her clinical interests include hormone health, gut and metabolic wellness, weight management, PCOS, interstitial cystitis, autoimmune conditions, long-haul COVID, adjunctive cancer support, and mold illness. She believes deeply in food as medicine and the body’s incredible ability to heal when properly supported.
Outside work, Briana loves time outdoors with her husband and four children in beautiful Idaho. Together they enjoy skiing, fishing, paddle boarding, dirt biking, hunting, gardening, and simply taking in the beauty of God’s creation.
